Incident energy E0: 3-1000 meV
Resolution: DE/E0(FWHM) = 2-4% for 0 < E < 800meV,
D
Q/Q0 = 1% for 0.2 < Q < 30Å-1
Beam size: 7.5 cm wide, 10 cm high
Chopper rotation frequency: E0 30-270 Hz; t0 30-150 Hz
Detector angles: -20° < f < 140°
Detector configuration: 304 vertical 3He single-end detectors (Ø 2.5 cm ´ 45 cm) covering 28°-62° and 102°-133° angle area.
94 vertical linear position-sensitive 3He detectors (LPSD, Ø 2.5 cm ´ 80 cm) and
16 horizontal LPSDs (Ø 2.5 cm ´ 40 cm) covering a "small" angle area 20° to 20°.
Moderator-to-sample distance: l1 + l2 = 13.8 m
Sample to detector distance: l3 = 4 m
Sample environment: Displex 8-300 K, ILL Orange cryostat 1.5-300K,
furnaces 300-1200 K, large volume (7 cm3) Aluminum-alloy high-pressure cell, P=max 4.5 kbar
