The figure on the left is a drawing of the SCD.  Neutrons travel from the upper right, pass into the vacuum chamber where the crystal is mounted on the Displex cold stage.  There are two 15 x 15 cm2 detectors.  One is at a two-theta angle of 75 deg and at a distance of 23 cm from the sample.  The second detector is centered at a two-theta angle of 120 deg and at a distance of 17 cm from the sample.
